The AffinityRx story: why every compounding pharmacy belongs in one portal
AffinityRx exists because clinics and telehealth brands were juggling a separate portal for each compounding pharmacy, absorbing backorders and paying prices they couldn't compare. AffinityRx fixes that with one portal and one API across 15+ vetted compounding pharmacies; it launched publicly in July 2026 with telehealth platforms Cuvo and MyOrbitHealth and now operates at affinityrx.com.

The problem AffinityRx was built to fix
AffinityRx exists because sourcing compounded medications meant one portal, one price list and one set of problems per pharmacy.
Clinics and telehealth brands rarely fill their whole formulary from one compounding pharmacy. To cover every SKU and work around backorders they kept accounts with several pharmacies, ordered manually in each portal and managed scripts across all of them.
Scattered, multi-portal ordering
A login, an order history and an invoice per pharmacy. Staff time went to re-keying orders instead of patients.
Backorders and slow shipping
Pharmacies went out of stock or shipped slowly, so clinics were never certain patients would get orders on time.
Price opacity
The same SKU carried different prices at different pharmacies, with no way to see them side by side.
Back-and-forth vetting
Clinics had to chase each pharmacy for accreditations, COAs, sterility and endotoxin testing and state licenses.
The answer: one portal and one API
AffinityRx puts 15+ vetted compounding pharmacies and 250+ SKUs behind one portal for clinics and one API for telehealth brands.
- Prices side by side. The same SKU from every pharmacy, price set at signing; clinics typically save about 10% versus their current price.
- Favorites and failover. Clinics pre-set a primary pharmacy and backups; a rejected or out-of-stock order moves to the next favorite within 1–2 minutes.
- Vetting done for you. Only 9% of the compounding pharmacies AffinityRx reviews pass.
- One of everything. One login, one invoice, one order history, one support contact, with 24/7/365 human support.
- $0 to join. No subscription, no per-order fees, no minimum order. See pricing.
